Solutions & Support Engineer

Full-time Sofia (hybrid) Founding role

This position is offered by Vereign Labs Ltd., Sofia, Bulgaria, a member of the Vereign group. The role is hybrid, anchored to our Sofia office.

The work is real

SEAL, our entry product, is live in Swiss healthcare: more than 800,000 verifiable messages every month through our partner HIN. We're now rolling out the Verimesh Suite, our Decentralized Key Management (DKMS) infrastructure, starting with HIN and the first hospital and technical-partner deployments, and opening it to more organisations through the Health Innovation Center. Everything we ship is Open Source, under AGPLv3.

What you'll do

  • Help partners and customers install and configure SEAL and the Verimesh Suite: real deployments on containers and Kubernetes/OpenShift, with S/MIME, LDAP / Active Directory, and policy configuration.
  • Configure the solution for each customer's scenario, and help new and prospective customers prove it in their own environment.
  • Triage and resolve what first-level support can't, and escalate genuine defects to Engineering with the detail to fix them fast.
  • Build the knowledge base, runbooks, and documentation that don't exist yet, designed to hold up as our customer base grows by orders of magnitude.

Where it goes

This starts hands-on and individual: you, getting customers running. As deployments multiply, it grows into Head of Solutions & Support: building and leading the operations-and-support department across healthcare and the regulated sectors beyond it. Build it well, and you won't be doing it alone for long.

Who you'll work with

Georg Greve (CEO), Kalin Canov (General Manager Sofia), and the Engineering, DevOps, and QA leads, plus our partners and customers, starting with HIN and the Health Innovation Center cohort.

What we're looking for

  • Hands-on experience supporting or deploying B2B software infrastructure: solutions engineering, technical support, customer success, DevOps/SRE, or similar.
  • Real comfort with Linux, containers, and Kubernetes (or OpenShift).
  • The ability to face a customer well: patient, clear, credible, technical and non-technical alike.
  • Strong written English; you'll write the documentation and knowledge base.
  • A builder's instinct: this role has no playbook yet; you'll write it.

Email infrastructure, S/MIME, PKI, or LDAP experience; regulated or healthcare environments; and Bulgarian alongside English are all a plus.

Based at our Sofia office (hybrid). Because you'll support live, regulated systems, the role carries a fair on-call commitment we'll define together and staff sustainably as the team grows. Compensation is competitive and matched to your experience, discussed early and openly.
